About Dr. Savell
For more than 40 years, Dr. Randall Savell has provided digestive care to patients throughout western North Carolina and beyond.
Dr. Savell earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine residency at Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center and his gastroenterology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine. His career has included community practice, military medicine, and rural health outreach—experiences that inform the comprehensive, approachable care he provides at Western Carolina Digestive Consultants.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Savell enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, supporting local veterans’ organizations, and spending time with his family.
