Biography

For more than 40 years, Dr. Randall Savell has delivered expert digestive-care to patients across western North Carolina and beyond. After earning his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, he completed an internal-medicine residency at Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center and a gastroenterology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine. His career spans community practice, military medicine, and rural-health outreach; all informing the comprehensive, approachable style he brings to Western Carolina Digestive Consultants.

Outside the office, Dr. Savell enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, community service with local veterans’ groups, and spending quality time with his family.
