About Dr. Barrier
With more than 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Charles Barrier has helped thousands of patients throughout western North Carolina prevent, diagnose, and manage digestive diseases.
Dr. Barrier earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center.
At Western Carolina Digestive Consultants, Dr. Barrier provides patient-centered gastrointestinal care and performs endoscopic procedures.
